Here are some things that happened to me this week:
This happens more often than I'd like, but it happened again this week. A customer came in and said, "I bought my first bed here 20 years ago, and I really loved it." She continued, "I was broke the last time I needed a mattress and went to [the] Stone. It lasted four years before I wished I could get a new one. I put up with it for four more." First, we have the same prices as [the] Stone for a better product. Second, when you're "broke," this is the place to come because whatever I sell you will last as long as I say it will. She wanted a California king mattress and a California king adjustable bed. We had both at Best Sleep Centre for the lowest price in Canada. Because she wanted custom [options], she came to us. If you're "broke," you should come to us too.
I like this one even more. Another couple came in and said, "We bought our bed from you in 2006. We loved it, but it's time to replace it." They added, "We have bought a lot of product from you over the years, and it's all good and has lasted as advertised." I like these customers the best.
I went to a Jets game for the first time in a while. It was nice to see and be seen. I apologize for not having been out much recently, but someone who works there bought a mattress from me, and it was time to start getting back into post-COVID society and enjoying life again.
Everything that happened this week was good, except my HVAC units keep going out, and the store starts at 61 degrees some days lately.
Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah.
